Power Distribution Unit (PDU)
The
Rastorder PDU is designed to give Location Sound Recordists
(Location Sound Mixers) a single point DC power management
device.
It will operate from any conventional 12 volt power
source, including 12volt batteries, or any 12volt regulated
power supply and re-distributes power to all the equipment on the
sound cart.
This minimizes clutter on the cart and simplifies
moving around on set, particularly when operating from mains
power.
Used in conjunction with a battery and a regulated
mains charger, or a regulated mains power supply, the PDU
makes for a very versatile and reliable, power distributing
system.

battery borrowed from a crew vehicle you will never be caught short
